Wee Threes Lead Teacher

We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and experienced Lead Teacher for our Wee Threes Program. This gentle and developmentally appropriate class introduces young children (ages 2.9 to 3.5) to the Montessori environment through a play-based approach that nurtures independence, curiosity, and emotional growth. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, understands the unique needs of early childhood, and is committed to fostering independence, curiosity, and social-emotional growth in a warm and supportive classroom.
Primary Teacher Assistant

Ocean State Montessori School is looking for a warm and patient Teacher Assistant for one of our Primary classrooms. If you love working with young children and value independence, curiosity, and a peaceful learning environment—we want to meet you! The assistant will help prepare and organize materials and support daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities in collaboration with the Lead Teacher. Our assistants help foster independence, model respectful behavior, and nurture growth.

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Spanish Teacher to lead weekly language classes for Kindergarten through Upper Elementary students. This part-time position includes four one-hour classes each week and offers the opportunity to ignite a love for Spanish language and culture in a hands-on, student-centered environment. The Spanish Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that introduce students to Spanish language and culture, while supporting the Montessori philosophy of individualized, experiential learning.
Music Teacher

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Music Teacher to lead weekly music instruction. This part-time position includes four one-hour classes each week and is perfect for an educator who’s passionate about inspiring young learners through rhythm, movement, and song. Classes are divided into multi-aged sessions and meet once per week. The Music Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that introduce students to rhythm, melody, movement, and musical expression, while supporting the Montessori philosophy of experiential, child-centered learning.
Art Teacher

We're seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to lead weekly visual arts classes for Kindergarten through Upper Elementary students. This is a part-time position with four total classes per week—one per age group—focused on hands-on learning and artistic exploration in alignment with Montessori principles. The Art Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that explore a variety of artistic media and techniques, while supporting the Montessori philosophy of individualized, experiential learning.
