We are located in East Providence between Broadway, Route 44, and I-195.

Directions from Providence and points West

  • Take I-195 East to Exit 4, Taunton Ave. / Route 44 East
    • Bear left at the fork in the exit onto 44 East / Taunton Ave
  • Take 3rd RIGHT onto Grove Avenue, before the light and across from the Sacred Heart Church on your left.
    • This is not a hard right - it feels more like bearing right at a fork.
    • The Sacred Heart School will be on your right as you make the turn.
  • Go straight through the stop sign and Ocean State Montessori is approximately 2/10 of a mile down Grove Ave on your left.
  • The front of the building says "Grove Avenue Elementary School" (which is what the building used to be), but there is a small white Ocean State Montessori sign out front.
  • Please park in the lot to the left of the school.

Directions from points East

  • Take I-195 West to Exit 6, Rte 104 and Rt 44
  • Turn RIGHT at the end of the exit ramp onto Broadway
  • Take second LEFT onto Grove Avenue, just after the Rebello Funeral Home,
  • The school is approximately 2/10 of a mile down on your right.
  • The front of the building says "Grove Avenue Elementary School" (which is what the building used to be), but there is a small white Ocean State Montessori sign out front.
  • Please park in the lot to the left of the school.
