Programs offered by Ocean State Montessori School
The Ocean State Montessori School currently provides Montessori programs for children ages 3 through 12 (preschool through sixth grade) as well as extended day programs.
Wee Threes
(for children who turn 3 between September 1 and December 31)
Our Wee Threes program addresses the unique needs of the younger three year old child and provides a wonderful introduction to a Montessori education.

Primary
(for children ages 3 - 6)
The 3-year Primary program creates an atmosphere conducive to the young child's natural inclination to learn and explore.

Elementary
(grades 1-6)
Our integrated curriculum supports the Elementary student's understanding of abstract ideas and the development of their social and moral selves.

Special Studies
At every level, our curriculum includes art, music, language, and movement. Primary 3 and Elementary students have dedicated Specials classes for art, health, physical education, Spanish, and music.

Extended Day Programs
The Ocean State Montessori School offers several extended day options for working families. Before- and after-school care can be used on a full or part-time basis from 2 to 5 days per week. Preference is given to students who contract for full-time use. See the Tuition & Costs page for information on applicable fees.
