Pigeon Parade

I bet that not many of you get to experience a Pigeon Parade at your place of work! I was just treated to the site of our Primary and Wee Threes students parading past my office wearing pigeon hats and making pigeon “cooing” sounds (some of which sounded very similar to chickens!).

The children made the hats as part of their study of Mo Willems, our author of the month. Willem’s Pigeon (and other) books have been delighting the children all month. Our Kindergarten students had a special drawing lesson in which they drew Pigeon—the results were amazing!

You just never know what you are going to see (or hear) in the halls at OSMS!
